What is DBT?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a research-backed form of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for teens and adults who experience significant trouble managing their emotions, thoughts and behaviors.
Who can benefit from DBT skills acquisition?

Group Schedule
Schedule: For teens ages 12-16, the in-person group will meet on Mondays at 4:30pm. The virtual group will meet on Wednesdays at 4pm. The group begins in October.

- Week of 10/16 - Distress Tolerance Skills
- Week of 10/23 - Distress Tolerance Skills
- Week of 10/30 - Distress Tolerance Skills
- Week of 11/6 - Parent Session and Emotion Regulation Skills
- Week of 11/13 - Emotion Regulation Skills
- Week of 11/27 (skip Thanksgiving week) - Emotion Regulation Skills
- Week of 12/4 - Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills
- Week of 12/11 - Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills
- Week of 12/18 - (Make-up date)
Group Leader: Mohini Bhargava, LCSW
10 virtual sessions, including one Parent session that will be determined based on parent schedules.
Up to 7 participants per group.
Intake: An abbreviated intake is required prior to the start of the group for all new MPG patients. The 30-minute intake with the teen's parent(s) is needed to assess current level of functioning, at-risk symptomology and group appropriateness.
Pricing: $200 per session ($2,000 total, $1,850 Early Bird pricing), to be paid in full prior to the group start.
